Coming up under the warm winter sun is the 13th La Manga Club Seniors Tennis Open, an official ITF Seniors’ Grade 2 Tournament, from 29th November – 4th December.
With men’s and ladies’ singles, doubles and mixed competitions and ITF ranking points up for grabs, this is sure to be a truly memorable tennis event.
La Manga Club Tennis Centre has also played hosts on a number of occasions to other prestigious events such as the Davis Cup and Fed Cup, as well as numerous ATP tournaments. La Manga Club is also proud to be an official partner of Tennis Europe.
Tennis is a game for life. Seniors Tennis provides opportunities to compete all year round on a variety of different surfaces at all levels.
The LTA of Great Britain formed Seniors Tennis in 1974 to develop and promote competitive tennis for male and female players over the age of 45.
Now operating as Seniors Tennis GB, they cater for age groups in five year stages from 35 to 85 for men, and 35 to 80 for women.
The quality of the facilities at La Manga Club’s 28-court Tennis Centre makes it one of Spain’s finest outdoor sporting resorts. On offer are twenty clay courts (including an exhibition court and the centre court, which seats up to 1200 spectators), four hard courts, four artificial grass courts, two padel courts and a squash court.
